As being the only Daughter In Law, I need to add that, "Thank God", I have the kind of Mother In-Law that anyone would be proud of. Many have probably been jealous that they didn't have one like mine.
She has always been there for me no matter what, in the good times and the bad times. She has never interfered with mine and Jimmy’s marriage. She has always known what to say and how to say it to make him fly right. She has always been a great "Granny Granny" to my kids and grand kids, and they have all loved her very much.
She use to sew for me, she has stayed with me when I had surgery and my Mom couldn’t come over, she has cooked many meals for us, especially when we lived in Penwell and I would drive home from work and her and Grandpa would be there and the meal was cooked and usually they cleaned the kitchen afterwards. I never left of the morning to go to work when she stayed with us that she wouldn't tell me how nice and pretty that I looked. She also taught me how to love a cup of coffee in the morning, to start my day off right.
Too me she has been a Mom too, not just a Mother in-law.
With much love,
Patty
